Is Towne West pet friendly?
Yes, we are proud to offer pet friendly apartments in west houston! We welcome both cats and dogs (up to two pets per household) and even feature a dedicated Bark Park on-site for your furry friends to enjoy. While we do have some breed restrictions and a weight limit of 75 pounds, our community is designed to be a welcoming environment for pet owners. What Unit Types are Available at Towne West?
At Towne West, we offer a variety of spacious layouts designed to fit your lifestyle, specifically featuring oversized 1 bedroom apartments in west houston and large 2 bedroom apartments in west houston. Our floor plans range from approximately 1,017 to over 1,330 square feet, providing significantly more living space than the average rental. Many of our homes include modern upgrades like granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and subway tile backsplashes. Is there Parking Available, including EV charging?
Towne West provides ample off-street parking for our residents, including options for covered carports and private garages for an additional monthly fee. While we do not currently offer on-site EV charging stations, our prime location near Westpark Drive ensures you are never far from local charging infrastructure in the West Houston area.
What public transportation options are available nearby?
Residents of our briar village houston apartments enjoy convenient access to several public transit hubs. The Mission Bend Transit Center is located just 1.4 miles away, and we are within easy reach of the Addicks and Westchase Park & Ride facilities. Our Essential Living Program is a unique initiative at Towne West designed to provide high-quality, thoughtfully priced housing for Houston's essential professionals. If your household income falls within the 60% or 80% Area Median Income (AMI) tiers, you may qualify for exclusive rental rates, allowing you to live closer to work in a community you love.
What’s included in the rent?
Your monthly rent at Towne West covers your high-quality apartment home and access to our suite of community amenities, including the resort-style pool, fitness center, and resident clubhouse with Wi-Fi. Please note that utilities, trash service fees (including valet trash), and pest control are typically billed separately. We recommend contacting our leasing office for a full breakdown of the monthly utility bundle and any mandatory community fees.
What amenities does the community offer—and are there fees?
Towne West offers a "resort-style" lifestyle with amenities including a sparkling swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness center, a business center, and scenic garden landscaping. While many amenities are included with your residency, there is a small monthly Community Amenity Maintenance fee. What is the application and approval process like?
Applying for one of our apartments in west Houston is simple and can be done entirely online. You will need to provide income verification (typically 2.5x to 3x the monthly rent) and pay an application and administrative fee to hold your unit. Our team reviews credit and criminal background checks as part of the approval process.
